Our family loves May Wah! They offer generous portions and their food is always delicious! When I place my order, Megan always knows who I am & what I usually order- she and her family are warm and friendly and always greet me with a smile! My order is ready when I arrive- this is our "go-to" take out restaurant. They have recently remodeled so it is a great place to eat in too. I highly recommend May Wah!

Food quality, presentation and taste A++ Tables well spaced for easy wheelchair access and privacy for couples conversations. Lunch menu has plenty of options and fast enough service to get back to work in time. I have had the Drunken Noodle and the Pineapple curry both are great!

I’ve been dining at this wonderful, family-owned Chinese restaurant for over 30 years, and it continues to be one of the most reliable and heartwarming spots in town. The food is outstanding every single time—beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and clearly made with pride. After decades of meals here, I can honestly say I’ve never once been disappointed. What truly sets this place apart is the people. The wait staff is consistently friendly, welcoming, and on top of every detail. The owners are just as gracious, and the remarkable female owner who oversees the restaurant deserves special mention. Her leadership, kindness, and dedication shine through in every aspect of the dining experience. The restaurant itself is charming, impeccably clean, and perfect for lingering conversations over great food. It feels like a place where the community gathers—comfortable, familiar, and lovingly maintained. After all these years, it remains one of my favorite places to eat. Excellent food, wonderful people, and an atmosphere that keeps you coming back again and again.

I've been coming to May Wah's for nearly 30 years. Their hot and sour soup is the best in town, and when I'm getting takeout, my kids always request the soup and sesame chicken. It's so good! The people are friendly and the service is great. For takeout they are very fast - it's always ready within 10 - 15 minutes. I also love that they offer a variety of Asian cuisines - the Thai curries are excellent and I frequently get a Vietnamese noodle bowl. Everything is delicious and very fresh! I am lucky that I work just down the street so I can enjoy it frequently.

Still the best Chinese food in Boulder! May Wah continues to be consistently top shelf in terms of service, flavors, portions, and overall experience even after all these years. They really have a way with their sauces that is more subtle and interesting than your garden variety Chinese place. The service is always friendly and generous and the portions are hearty with very fresh veg and good quality proteins. They are attentive to allergies and dietary requirements. I always leave feeling content and like I've been welcomed by good friends. I'm grateful that these folks have stuck it out through the years and only gotten better!
